RAGBRAI Day 4 covers 67.9 miles from Boone to Marshalltown

Day 4 of RAGBRAI 2026 takes riders 67.9 miles from Boone to Marshalltown on July 22, according to the official route page.

The stage includes 1,819 feet of climb and passes through Gilbert, Nevada, Colo and State Center, the site said. Riders will also travel on a portion of the Historic Iowa Byways Lincoln Highway.

KCRG reporters Joe Winters and Rebekah Vaughan are participating and sharing updates from the route, the station reported.

RAGBRAI 2026 runs July 18-25, with Marshalltown as the overnight town for Day 4.

"It’s day 4 of RAGBRAI, and KCRG’s Joe Winters and Rebekah Vaughan are headed back to eastern Iowa! Wednesday’s trip takes them from Boone to Marshalltown. It’s over 68 miles, the longest day so far," the station said.

"The fourth day of RAGBRAI LIII takes us from Boone to Marshalltown, 67.9 miles and 1,819 feet of climb, while riding on a portion of the Historic Iowa Byways Lincoln Highway," the official site stated.
